VINE: Ice hockey player suffers horrendous ankle injury with no-one within 10 feet of him

It's not meant to bend that way

Excuse us while we put down our dinner

Injuries are just a part of sport. When you go out and you get clobbered by some beast of a human being it’s going to hurt. Sometimes it hurts more than normal though  and you’re laid up for a while.

That’s all part of being involved in a contact sport.

But what if you injury yourself with absolutely no-one around you at all.

That must be really frustrating.

Poor Michal Rozsival has absolutely no-one to blame but himself after this horror injury during the NHL game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the  Minnesota Wild last night

The player was making his way back towards his own end to try and break up a Minnesota attack when he ended harming himself instead.

There’s no firm indication yet as to his condition but in our humble opinion it does not look good, and we doubt a simple aspirin will fix it.
