The San Antonio Spurs move the ball like no other team
The San Antonio Spurs are the reigning NBA champs for a reason. Not only do they have probably the best coach in the NBA in Gregg Popovich, and three guaranteed Hall of Fame players (Duncan, Parker and Ginobili), they also play simply beautiful basketball, packed with clever passes and speed that put other teams on the back foot.
Last night, against the Clippers, they demonstrated just why they are the champs and Ginobili showed just why he is an all-time great. The guard drove at the basket to unsettle the LA defence and then popped the ball back over his head without looking to Danny Green on the three-point line.
Green, one of the best shooters in the league, completed his end of the deal. The Spurs in microcosm. Perfect. Oh yeah, and they won the game 125-118.
