NFL hopefuls don't have to get drafted to fulfil a lifelong dream
Even though there were 256 players drafted in this weekend's NFL Draft in Chicago, at least that many again were left disappointed at not hearing their names called.
Many of those, however, will find their way onto NFL rosters as free agents or training camp invitees, and for guys like Kansas State lineman BJ Finney, who signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the moment they can say they are part of the NFL is just as special and emotional as for a top-ten draft pick.
