Rob Gronkowski treated his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night like he was having the post-pub chats with a taxi driver. And he was fully entitled to do so.
The New England Patriots tight end showed all the signs of celebration as he spoke to the American talk show host less than 24 hours after lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Gronk scored a touchdown in the Pats' close 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks at Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday night and he told Kimmel that he partied into the early hours of Monday morning, only getting two hours sleep.

And the 25-year-old New Yorker looked shocked when Kimmel showed him footage of the shemozzle that broke late in the game that showed Gronkowski throwing a punch.
In reply to the melee, Gronk said: “I got pushed or something and I was like, ‘Screw it, last game of the year, I’m throwing some haymakers.'”
Good man yerself.

The interview took a bizarre turn when Kimmel asked Gronk to read an excerpt from a work of erotic fan fiction entitled A Gronking to Remember.
And the banter-machine known as Robert Paxton Gronkowski displayed his improv skills by saying: “Man I bet you he has the biggest piece I’ve ever seen, actually ... it doesn’t even say that, I just made it up.”

We could all do with a little more Gronk in our lives.
