When a club legend returns after a spell away on foreign shores so to speak then it's always a special moment. Manchester United fans hope it might happen some day with Ronaldo while Liverpool got a second chance to see Robbie Fowler in red a number of years after he left for Leeds and other clubs.
It's with that in mind that Kevin Garnett was introduced to the crowd last night in Minnesota as a Timberwolves man once again.
The legendary player last week decided to head back to his first franchise to try and revive their fortunes as he nears the end of his career, and the crowd showed their appreciation with a wonderful pre-match video tribute and fireworks.
The 38-year-old even helped his side to a 99-77 win over the Wizards, which was a nice thank-you for the standing ovation received just before tip-off.
Head to the 3.00 mark to see the man himself come on court,
