This is probably the most embarrassing thing ever to happen in an NBA game
Usually in team sports it's fairly easy to figure out where the opposition end is and you try to score in there.
It's pretty much the standard rule for most sports, be it football, hurling, NFL or basketball.
Well, unfortunately tonight officials and players seemed to get it all mixed up in the NBA game between Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves.
The match had to be restarted after just 16 seconds as Henry Sims was about to take a free throw and officials realised he was about to shoot into his own-basket.
Doh.
After a little consultation the foul was wiped and the teams went back to the centre for another tip-off and the game restarted.
Only in America.
