Bryan Sperry lit up his old Kansas University turf at the weekend with a 42-yard touchdown that will put a smile on even the most grumpy of faces.
The former World War II veteran and KU footballer kitted back out for the college's alumni football flag game at the weekend and he can still move.
Alright, it took some help from his relentless blockers and some questionable tackles that were flying through the air and missing Sperry by a good 10 feet but he made it the whole way to the end zone with a smile on his face and he lit up our evening in here, too.
He seems like a good guy. And his team mates and opponents seem even better for letting him through.
“All the guys, they did a great job there," Sperry said. "They helped me out every way they could. I had a lot of fun."
