Tom Brady has defended his use of the F-word after critics jumped on television pictures of the New England quarterback venting his anger.
The Patriots star was caught screaming the obscenity on camera during last week's defeat in Green Bay, leading to a scathing Boston Globe editorial, but Brady has hit back, telling a local sports radio show: 'We're not choirboys.'
Brady also shifted the blame onto TV networks for broadcasting his outbursts.
'I wish I did have a better mouth out there at times, but there’s nothing that quite expresses the way I feel like that word,' he told WEEI. 'It is, it is [a great word], especially in the heat of the moment. … Blame CBS and NBC for putting it on TV. Don’t blame me.'
