It might be Super Bowl week but that doesn't mean Johnny Manziel has been out of the news.
The controversial Cleveland Browns quarterback has found himself in more trouble in recent days, after he was investigated for an alleged case of domestic violence against his former girlfriend.
Manziel is not believed to be facing any criminal charges, but his ex has been granted a restraining order, while Manziel's parents have expressed their concern for their son's ongoing health.
The former Heisman Trophy winner, as the best player in college football, Manziel gained a reputation for a party-hard lifestyle has spent more than two months in rehab at the beginning of last year, but the 23-year-old has continued to drink, according to reports.
His father Paul told the media: "I truly believe if they can't get him help, he won't live to see his 24th birthday."
The Browns are almost certain to part ways with Johnny Football once the new NFL season begins and even his agent has cut ties with the player. Erik Burkhardt said: "Though I will remain a friend and Johnny supporter, and he knows I have worked tirelessly to arrange a number of professional options for him to continue to pursue, it has become painfully obvious that his future rests solely in his own hands."
With Manziel appearing to spiral out of control, who better than infamous party animal Charlie Sheen to offer words of advice...
