These Michigan high school footballers are our new favourite team

'We're ready to go out there and HIT 'EM... EVERY PLAY!'

Putting Warren, Michigan on the map with bit hits and bigger quips

High school football is so enormously popular in the United States that a set of championship games took place in Ford Field, Detroit – the same venue were the Lions mauled the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving – at the weekend.

Part of the schedule saw De La Salle Pilots square off against Muskegon Mona Shores High School in the Division 2 championship. Fox News sent its ace reporter along to check out the action and he came across a couple of legends.

De la Salle backed up their talk with a 44-8 victory. SportsJOE will be closely following the Pilots’ exploits over the coming weeks. ‘I think I got my swagger back…’
