The cream of the crop rises to the top
Every youngster that dreams of hitting the big time knows deep down that the chances of making it as a sports star are somewhere between slim and none, and one US college is eager to make sure its students know just how tough that path is. This sign has been placed in a California college to make sure members of its American football team with visions of the fame and fortune that comes with a long NFL career know just how few will actually get there, and to encourage them to make the most of their time in university to provide an alternative future. The numbers themselves are incredible, with just 300 out more than one million high school football players making it to the pros.
