I believe it's called taking one for the team.

Seattle's Jeremy Lane picked off Tom Brady in the endzone during the first quarter of the Superbowl, but after being sent flying by the Pats' Julian Edelman, he landed horribly on his arm. And by horribly, we mean seriously, seriously horrible. I'm no doctor, but I don't think arms are supposed to bend that way... Jeremy Lane intercepted Tom Brady in the first quarter, leaving him with a gruesome arm injury. Apparently, he's listed as "unlikely" to return to the game. No Sh!t...
