He's had better weeks

Perhaps it was his body trying to re-acclimatise to the Wisconsin cold but Odell Beckham Jr. must wonder what went wrong as the New York Giants suffered a humbling defeat at the hands of the Green Bay Packers.

Beckham Jr. is one of the league’s best wide receivers.

Prior to the Giants’ playoff clash against the Packers at Lambeau Field, the three-time pro bowler finished the regular season with 101 catches for 1,367 yards.

During the playoff clash with Packers, Beckham Jr. only made 28 yards – his second lowest receiving yards of his pro career.

The 24-year-old dropped four passes in the playoff match, one of which would have resulted in a much needed touchdown for his side.

The one in the video below sums up his day.

It wasn’t to be his day but according to ESPN, Beckham Jr. went through a bit of a meltdown soon after the match ended.

New York Daily News

Apparently, Beckham Jr. was seen banging his head against a door and also punching a hole through a wall.

“Odell is an emotional guy. He was disappointed,” said quarterback Eli Manning.

“I saw him with his head down and disappointed. There are a lot of guys that will shed a tear or two. When you lose a playoff game — and for a lot of guys it’s their first time in the playoffs — to kind of have the season abruptly end like that is a shock. Everyone handles it differently.”

A spokesperson for the Giants stated that they are aware of the incident but that they are refusing to comment.

Beckham Jr. came in for stinging criticism during the week in the build up to the match against the Packers after it was revealed he and some other teammates spent a day in Miami hanging out on a boat with Justin Bieber.
