Late-night Lebron James vs Michael Jordan college debate ends in assault and ‘terroristic threats’

No winners on this occasion

It’s like Animal House, with less toga parties and more idiotic debates that will never be proven.

A late-night dorm room debate over the greatest basketball player of all-time escalated very quickly.

As Daily Collegian report, Daniel Mondelice and his [unnamed] room-mate began arguing over the best ‘baller in the NBA’s history. The debate, at Pen State’s Calder Commons apartment, began at 3:49am on Saturday.

By 6:33pm, over 16 hours later, Mondelice had twice been picked up by the police.

The State College Department have charged the student with aggravated assault and criminal trespassing. He was also accused of ‘terroristic threats’.

It is alleged that the 22-year-old assaulted his room-mate. Following his release from police custody, an officer escorted him back to his apartment so he could pick up personal effects.

He stayed with a female friend but when he was asked to leave, hours later, he reportedly became ‘verbally insulting and aggressive’.

As Ron Burgundy would say:
