The NFL have announced that DeMarco Murray is the NFC offensive player of the month for October.
The running back for the Dallas Cowboys is enjoying a dream start to the season, having also received the honour for September.
Murray has 1,054 rushing yards over the two months and has averaged at least 100 yards in all eight games, an NFL record for a season start.
Murray is well on his way to breaking Eric Dickerson’s record of 2,105 rushing yards in a single season but he has also shown some skill in the passing department, adding 17 catches (171 yards) in October.
