An Irish rugby player from Cashel in Tipperary is being sought-after by a host of College football teams, despite never playing the game and having previously never even watched a full match.
Oluwanifemi 'Neff' Giwa, who was born in Ireland and raised by Nigerian parents, has major interest from colleges in the US after a short clip of him training went viral.
Giwa is 6 ft 7in, and weighs 295 pounds, and according to The Athletic, has offers from Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas Tech, SMU and others.

It is reported that Giwa has 37-inch arms, and ran a 4.88-second 40-yard dash with a 9ft 10in broad jump after testing in Germany.
Giwa, who is 20, is a former Cashel Rugby Club player and also represented Munster and the Ireland Under-18 Schools sides in 2022.
Brandon Collier, a former University of Massachusetts player and owner of Premier Prospects International, who help international athletes into college football programmes, had glowing praise for Giwa after being tipped off about him earlier this year.
He told the Athletic: "He’s got this toughness about him… he’s like a fighter. He played rugby. He was physical as heck."
It remains to be seen who Giwa will sign a scholarship for, but with a direct pathway into the NFL, watch this space!
