New Galway jersey is a fine bit of stuff

Paul Galvin should be getting royalties for this one!

The Galway hurlers are Down Under in Sydney at the moment for the Wild Geese Cup against Kilkenny this weekend. The two Leinster counties were chosen to take part in the event on the back of their winning of the last two Allianz National Hurling League renewals. The game, a part of the Sydney Irish festival taking place this weekend, will be broadcast live on RTÉ on Sunday and one thing viewers are bound to notice is the new-look jersey being worn by the Tribesmen. Gearóid McInerney and Niall Burke modelled the jersey on Friday morning and Galway fans all over are speculating that it's the jersey the county will wear for the 2019 season. That's expected to be the case, with certain Galway clubs tweeting about the new jersey and Galway folk couldn't but be delighted with the new offering. https://twitter.com/kinvaragaa/status/1060820977993633792 The three white stripes on the sleeve go well on the sleeve while the white trimming around the collar also looks well. Indeed, it's very similar to the retro style Kerry geansaí designed by Paul Galvin at the start of last year. It wouldn't be a Galway jersey without that iconic Supermacs sponsor.
