Manchester City have been knocked out of the FA Cup by Wigan Athletic.

Wigan beat City 1-0 at the DW Stadium on Monday night, ending any hopes Pep Guardiola's side had of winning an unprecedented quadruple of trophies - the Premier League, the League Cup, the FA Cup and the Champions League. City were heavy favourites coming into the tie with the League One side, but were put to the sword by Will Grigg.
Kyle Walker let a ball run past him, thinking it was covered, but Grigg was waiting on the shoulder of the City defender. The Northern Ireland striker took a touch, steadied himself and put it beyond Claudio Bravo in the City goal. Wigan fans began signing the Will Grigg song, City stood around looking stunned and social media went into meltdown. https://twitter.com/NorthernIreland/status/965700659042537472 https://twitter.com/LaticsOfficial/status/965701324775084032 https://twitter.com/SportsJOE_UK/status/965700751598252033 City had played the second half with 10 men, after Fabian Delph was dismissed for a tackle on Max Power just before half-time, but created few chances of note in the game. This isn't the first time Wigan have beat them in the FA Cup. They recorded a 1-0 victory over City in the final in 2013, and beat them again the following year. https://twitter.com/OptaJoe/status/965666738984685570
