Wes Hoolahan has been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion. According to a report in The Norfolk Eastern Daily Press, Hoolahan has been training with the Championship club.
The Irish playmaker has been a free agent since leaving Norwich City at the end of last season.
Hoolahan made 352 appearances for the Canaries, scoring 53 goals, and was part of the team that won back to back promotions from League One to the Premier League.

The 36-year-old was given a great send-off in May by Norwich after 10-years with the club. He has been linked with several moves over the past few months.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard was said to be interested in taking him to Ibrox. Last month, it was reported that Joey Barton wanted to sign him at Fleetwood Town. Hoolahan was also linked with moves to the United States and Australia.

However, it looks like West Brom are in the prime position to sign the former Shelbourne midfielder. The report claims that Darren Moore, the Baggies manager, is hoping to sign a creative midfielder to help the club's promotion push and Hoolahan fits the bill.
The Dubliner also wouldn't have to play at Carrow Road if he was to sign for West Brom. Moore's team beat Norwich 4-3 in August and will host them at the Hawthorns in January.
West Brom were relegated from the Premier League last season. They are currently in ninth position in the Championship, a point away from the play-off spots and four points from the top of the table.
