Every time Wales take part in any sporting event, their supporters are deservedly praised for their rendition of their national anthem. Some are much more powerful than others. A recent example of a particularly moving version of the song came on Friday night before Wales' 1-0 away win at Georgia. The Georgian FA accidentally cut the music after the first verse and some eejit began introducing the hosts’ anthem. The acapella version of the song made it all the more stirring and according to the Wales Online they want to do it again. The Welsh publication is reporting that the team have made a special request to their football association to turn the music off after the first few bars of the anthem and allow the crowd to see it through to the end. If that actually happens, expect the atmosphere to be absolutely electric during the pre-match tradition.
