It's completely understandable that after time away from the game, some managers might forget the odd player's name.
Although given that Sam Allardyce only left his post at West Ham at the back end of last season, perhaps he doesn't fall into that category. Taking on a role as pundit, Allardyce showered Everton's Simon Coleman with praise. Unfortunately for Big Sam, the Irishman's name is Seamus, and not Simon. Big Sam's only human, and managers often player's names. Charles N'Zogbia was infamously upset after former Newcastle United manager Joe Kinnear referred to him as "Charles Insomnia".Explore more on these topics:
