Most Manchester United supporters would take another year of David de Gea over any new arrival at Old Trafford.
The Spaniard has unarguably been United's best player over the last two seasons and the talk of a transfer to Real Madrid would have many fans worried that the club was taking a massive step backwards.
But manager Louis van Gaal has revealed that he doesn't think that de Gea will be going anywhere this summer which will come as music to fans' ears.
Asked in his press conference about whether he believed Victor Valdes was ready to take the number one jersey at Old Trafford, the Dutchman declared his confidence.
"I believe still that David de Gea will stay."
