EA Sports may want to revise their Fifa 17 ratings.

After settling in for a spot of the Manchester derby, via the magic of the EFL Cup, we were struck by an incredible feat on the Old Trafford pitch. It wasn't Juan Mata's goal or Marcus Rashford's run or Jesus Navas' cross that made us sit up and take notice. No, it was a footrace between Michael Carrick and Sergio Aguero in the final five minutes of the game. https://twitter.com/MUFCScoop/status/791391960368111617 And from another angle. Carrick, who had played the full game, seemed to easily get back at a sprinting Aguero, who was only on the pitch for fifteen minutes, and it made us wonder what their Fifa 17 ratings were. So we looked them up and found that Carrick holds a pace rating of 52, a hell of a lot lower than the 89 enjoyed by the Argentine. page That's what we thought! Carrick is a 35-year-old central midfielder who was never known for his sprint speed while Aguero, 28, is renowned for outpacing defenders. So what the hell was this about? We suppose Carrick just wanted it more but the fact that Aguero was beaten in a footrace by a midfielder who'd supposedly lost his legs in recent seasons does not bode well for Aguero's chances of getting Pep Guardiola back onside. It wasn't the most significant moment of the game but it seemed to be a particular highlight for Manchester United fans watching at home. https://twitter.com/MrBudjie/status/791406119893753856 https://twitter.com/LicenceToPhil/status/791401781116928004 https://twitter.com/IAintYuhFriend/status/791401682085244928 https://twitter.com/KingZlatan_9/status/791399773790146560 https://twitter.com/michaelpage77/status/791399314211934209 https://twitter.com/Ammadutd/status/791398373974761472 https://twitter.com/JamesQuinlan_/status/791398292185812992 https://twitter.com/JoeWheeler_10/status/791397391215755265 https://twitter.com/JonnyBohane/status/791396906404614144 https://twitter.com/BAKERMUFC1999/status/791396646303178752 https://twitter.com/TStout97/status/791395934227881984 https://twitter.com/iziit_garima/status/791394528829857792 https://twitter.com/IconicAnder/status/791394181231079424 https://twitter.com/ManUtds_News/status/791394044312104960 https://twitter.com/RappidRashford/status/791392480562409473 https://twitter.com/TommyKillen/status/791391941682429952 Colm Parkinson is joined by Paul Rouse for a heated debate about Sky Sports' five-year GAA deal and an exclusive chat with AFL star Zach Tuohy on the new GAA Hour.
