Mourinho is keen to prove that, despite the five years he spent as Chelsea boss, that he is solely focused on United now.
That became very clear on the Red Devils' preseason tour of China when Mourinho was presented with a Chelsea shirt by a Blues fan in Shanghai.

As he made his way through the throng of supporters, flashing his signature on anything red, Mourinho was faced with the blue jersey of his former employer.
A categorical shake of the head was enough to let the ambitious supporter in question know that the Chelsea shirt would remain Mourinho-less.
