John Stones has made tremendous strides under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City but it seems he is still prone to major defensive errors.
During the first-half of City's third round FA Cup visit of Burnley, a long Conor Pope clearance was headed forward by Clarets striker Sam Vokes before Stones mishit the attempted clearance.
The sliced mishit allowed the ball to roll forward in behind the Manchester City defence where Ashley Barnes finished brilliantly at the near post to give Burnley a shock lead.
Burnley entered the half-time break up 1-0 but City striker Sergio Aguero equalised just before the hour mark after reacting quickly from an Ilkay Gundogan free-kick.
Aguero then doubled his tally a minute later after again latching onto a ball through by Gundogan to give the hosts their first lead of the afternoon.
