But that didn't prompt him to back down when confronted by defender Jerome Boateng after a training ground collision that the German international took umbrage with.
The pair had to be pulled apart by teammates and Boateng looked angrier than when Lionel Messi had him for dinner last month.

The video shows the scuffle but doesn't include the collision that prompted it. It's very clear that all's not well in the camp of the Bundesliga champions after Bayern won just one of their last six matches which has seen all hope of a treble disappear.
Pep Guardiola reacted by sending both players back to the changing room (naughty step) to cool down.
