WATCH: Jeff Stelling shares classic story about Paul Merson, a canal and some missing sunglasses

Never change, Paul Merson.

Jeff Stelling is currently undertaking a 10-day to football grounds across England, to raise awareness about Prostate Cancer. The Sky Sports host has been joined by a number of famous names from the sporting world on his Men United fundraising challenge. On Friday, Soccer Saturday colleague Paul Merson tagged along for some of the walk and caused absolute chaos while he was there. Stelling said:

"Merse suddenly drops his sunglasses' case - for his expensive sunglasses. Somebody got stripped off to go dive in the canal after them. "We wouldn't let him but we held him over the side of the canal, full-length with a couple of people holding his legs so he didn't go in. "He managed to hook the sunglasses case with Merse's sunglasses in them. He got back out, in triumph, opened the case but nothing in there. "We looked at Merse and there were his sunglasses, on top of his head."
