It's in their blood and although they went on to concede against Germany in the Euro 2016 quarter-final, this almost unbelievable block from Italy's Alessandro Florenzi is one of the defensive highlights of the tournament. With Thomas Muller given a sight at goal, you'd have bet your house on him finding the net. And it looked for all the world like he was about to just that when he let rip with a shot at Gianluigi Buffon's goal. But that wasn't taking into consideration the otherworldly athleticism possessed by Florenzi who took to the air, somehow adjusted his body mid-flight and got this toe to the ball while he tumbled to the floor.
