All it takes is a Frenchman going about his daily life to send Republic of Ireland fans into an excited frenzy. Ahead of Ireland's Euro 2016 Group E opener against Sweden, Irish fans are drinking in the sights and sounds and stronger stuff of Paris. One such sight was that of a local who emerged from his home to a balcony above a huge Irish audience. His appearance was met with the kind of cheers that would greet a Shane Long winner in the Stade de France tonight. But as he went back into his living quarters, his absence was met with the angriest of boos and an anxious roar awaiting a second glimpse at their new hero. Does he return?
