It was all going so well for Pinzolo for the opening four minutes.
They remained compact, tight and hopeful of shutting out Roma for the remaining 86 minutes.
Then it all went tits-up.
A Mohamed Salah brace was followed up by an Edin Dzeko strike on the 16 minute mark.
After half an hour, the Serie A outfit led their little-known opponents 8-0 and Dzeko had four goals to his name.
It was an absolute demolition job as Luciano Spalletti's side displayed an almost unwatchable ruthlessness, going on to win 16-0 when Juan Manuel Iturbe, who made just the one appearance while on loan with Bournemouth in the second half of last season, rounded out the rout.
