But it wasn't to be as big Dejan Lovren came up with the Europa League quarter-final winner at the very death. Having come from 4-2 down on aggregate, the Reds earned a semi-final spot with Lovren's powerful header in the 91st minute which sent Anfield into rapture. But one fan wasn't in attendance for the historic night as he was otherwise engaged at the birth of his son but the significance of Liverpool's victory was not lost on him as he called in to BBC 5 Live to reveal that the winner had made the decision about what to call the new arrival all the easier. "This is the greatest day of my life," the caller said. "I am Liverpool Football Club. "And the reason I'm not there tonight is that I've been in hospital. I'm in the hospital bed right now. I've had my first child. "This is the greatest day of my life! "I'm calling him Dejan, I've already decided."
