This isn't the kind of touch we're used to seeing from Dimitar Berbatov.
Rather than showing off his silky ability to trap a ball, the former Manchester United and Spurs striker used a different part of his body to impact a game.
The sometimes lazy Bulgarian was given his marching orders towards the end of PAOK's 1-0 defeat to AEK for swinging an elbow towards his marker who was guilty of tugging on Berbatov's jersey.
He paid the price as Berbatov threw his arm back and connected with the defender and while the writhing around on the floor was likely an exaggeration and never nice to see, it was still a red card offence and the forward was sent walking.
Having said that, he lacks such pace that his teammates probably leaving the field at full time probably caught up with him halfway down the tunnel.
