Freddy Adu can still come good, we promise.
The 26-year-old (yes, he's really only 26) was once branded "the next Pele" upon signing his first professional contract aged 14 but he's had a bit of a drop off ever since. Adu has gone to Greece, Turkey and Serbia to attempt to re-ignite his career but has now found himself on set-piece duty for Finnish side Kuopion Palloseura, their reserve side of course. He can't quite break into the first XI. The "wonderkid" fired home this pretty damn decent free kick recently and was met with the most depressing smattering of applause we think we've ever heard.
