"Ronaldo became the world's best by being the hardest-working man in football."
Like him or hate him, it's hard to deny Cristiano Ronaldo his dues.
He's worked damn hard to get to where he is today.
He might not have the same natural ability as a Messi and a lot of of what he's achieved might be credited to the physical superhuman he's made himself but, whatever the ingredients, the Portuguese star has transformed into one of the greatest of all time.
And he's an alright bloke too.

Nike have paid homage to the mentality of the Real Madrid hero in their pre-Euro 2016 ad.
A short film featuring Ronaldo in a body-swap scenario with a young boy from England, he has to do it all over again - and he does just that.
Roy Keane's first impression of Cristiano was significant. "Great attitude, great trainer," the United great once said. And we know Roy isn't an easy man to please.
The film features Harry Kane, Anthony Martial and Raheem Sterling among many more and goes to show that, even if it was all taken away from Ronaldo in the morning, he would still rise again.
The hungriest always do. The best always do.
