Shane Long will be the toast of the whole country for some time after he came off the bench to put the world champions to the sword with a downright stunning strike midway through the second half. There may be a few sick heads in the morning as celebrations carry on to the early hours all around Ireland and one pub in Cork captured the brilliant moment that Manuel Neuer was left flailing at Long's unstoppable shot. Soho, on Grand Parade, erupted into rapture as the back of the net bulged.
