Brad Guzan and Micah Richards cut straight to the core.
The pair of Aston Villa players played the part of Bad Santa as they handed out gifts to their teammates for the club's official YouTube channel.
The fact that they're rooted to the bottom of the table seemed to have done nothing to take away from the squad's high spirits as the festive season approaches.
And it was Jack Grealish and Ciaran Clark who came away with the most personal gifts as their teammates mercilessly took the piss out of them.
Grealish, who was demoted to the U21s recently after being photographed out drinking in a Manchester nightclub, was given an inflatable bed "so the next time you feel like taking a nap, you can take that with you."
Ireland international Clark, meanwhile, unwrapped a Daniel O'Donnell CD with Richards' rationale being "we didn't know whether to get you English or Irish but you pretend you're Irish so we got you that."
