Robbie Brady had fully grown adults crying into their tri-colour inflatable hammers on Wednesday night, and there's nothing wrong with that.
One goal that was worth €2.5 million to the FAI, was absolutely priceless to the young man who scored it. Brady etched his name into Irish football history by securing the national team's first win at a major tournament since they defeated Saudi Arabia at the 2002 World Cup. It was a perfect moment for the 24-year-old, who got the entire nation misty-eyed with his post-match celebration.
