Vinnie Jones offers explanation for controversial dead foxes photo

For a brief period on Monday, Vinnie Jones overtook Donald Trump as public enemy number one on Twitter.

Former professional footballer Vinnie Jones was at the centre of a Twitter controversy that had animal rights activists up in arms. A photo of hundreds of dead foxes was tweeted from his official account along with the caption, “A real night lamping #foxes anyone beat this?” After receiving a serious amount of backlash, Jones deleted the tweet and offered an explanation. He claimed that he did not kill the foxes, that he did not take the photo or post it online.
