If there's anything the Premier League misses more than Alex Ferguson tapping his watch, it's the phenomenon of Nicklas Bendtner.
Lord Bendtner (to use his proper title) is leaving a world of football fans in disbelief after he fired home a hat-trick in Denmark's 3-2 victory over the U.S.A. tonight.
Danish fans would have been anxiously watching through their fingers when a chance like this arrived at the feet of Bendtner but the former Arsenal man made no mistake to level the tie.
And Bendtner equalised once more when a bouncing ball was walloped home by the 27-year-old in the 83rd minute.
Of course, he wasn't going to settle for two like any mere mortal would do. He scored his third to give Denmark the win with a genuinely impressive goal from just inside the box after showing off a touch that Arsenal fans never had the chance to see.
