If you get involved in a war of words with Zlatan, prepare to be burned
Zlatan is up to his old antics again. He produced some trash-talking gold during PSG's lacklustre 1-0 victory over AS Saint-Étienne.
The forward got involved in a heated war of words with St-Étienne defender Paul Baysee during a break in play, in which he appeared to mouth a pretty harsh put-down to the Frenchman.
According to the caption of the clip, Zlatan said, "C'est quoi ton nom déjà petit gnome ?" This translates to English as "What's your name again, you little gnome?"
Judging by the way the Swede patronisingly checks the name on the back of the defender's jersey, this could easily be the insult Zlatan fired at Baysee.
Aside from ruining the opposition's self esteem, the Swedish superstar had a pretty decent day at the office. Ibrahimovic scored the decisive goal in the Ligue 1 encounter.
The sharpshooter converted a penalty in the 60th minute to give his side the lead and end his goalscoring drought. He hadn't found the net in over five league matches prior to the match.
