Tonight's game between Portugal and Argentina in Old Trafford is being, rightly, billed as the battle between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi but an unexpected clash between two more players will have caused a few Manchester United fans to have a mini panic attack.
In what is supposed to be a friendly, United's on loan winger Nani went in pretty hard on the man who took his place in the Red Devils team, Argentina's Angel di Maria.
The good news is that Di Maria escaped unhurt...
UPDATE: Di Maria has gone for an X-ray but it is expected to be only precautionary. Argentina boss Gerardo Martino tells the Mirror: “We don’t think it’s anything serious. It was quite a hard blow he took and it was a hard knock. It cut the skin a little bit.
“We’ve had a look at it and we are evaluating the situation. We are having a look at some X-rays, some images, that have been taken. But in spite of that, we don’t think it’s too serious.”
