What's better than a gaffe on a live television broadcast?
Why a gaffe that's repeated throughout that broadcast, of course. During UFC Fight Night 71 in San Diego last night, a promo continued to play for an exhibition game between the MLS All-Stars and Tottenham Hotspur. The advertisement was clearly pre-recorded by play-by-play commentator Jon Anik who referred to LA Galaxy's Steven Gerrard as "David." While you'd think that the UFC would have noticed this woopsie and pull it from the broadcast, you'd be wrong as Liverpool legend Davey G was celebrated alongside Frank Lampard, Clint Dempsey and Kaka after pretty much every fight on the card.
