Kaka was given his marching orders in rather unusual fashion during Orlando City's 1-1 draw with Real Salt Lake at the weekend.
The AC Milan legend was shown a straight red for carelessly bumping into the back of an opposition player and then accidentally stamping on his. However, looking at the replay, while he did appear to shove the player, there was absolutely no intention in the "stamp".
In fact, Kaka looked like he was trying to avoid touching the player after the initial foul, but his momentum caused him to graze the player's hoop with his studs.
