There was an early contender for oddest goal of Copa America 2015 during Jamaica's clash with Paraguay the other day.
After Paraguay played a long ball from defence to just outside the Jamaican box, goalkeeper Duwayne Kerr sprinted out into No Man's Land to make a clearance.
The only problem was, his headed clearance fell straight into the path of Paraguay's Edgar Benitez, ricocheted off his legs as he was running and sailed into the net.
At least the shot-stopper can be thankful for that first syllable in his name. He doesn't need to give the baying fans from fuel to take the mickey out of him.
