A brace from Tokelo Rantie dumps holders out
South Africa have dumped the reigning Africa Cup of Nations champions Nigeria out of the tournament tonight before it's even started!
A 2-2 draw in the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo means Nigeria won't get the chance to defend their crown.
South Africa were on course for an historic win over the Super Eagles thanks to two goals from Tokelo Rantie but late strikes from substitute Aluko secured a draw.
It still wasn't good enough to send them through to January's competition which is now being held in Equatorial Guinea.
