Don't call it a comeback.

Fernando Torres is determined to stay at Atletico and if he can keep doing this, they'll be handing him a blank cheque book. The Spaniard continued his love affair in Madrid when he was sprang from the bench by Diego Simeone against Villareal tonight to go on and score what looks to be the crucial winner. The former Chelsea and Liverpool striker chased down the centre back, nicked the ball away and charged relentlessly towards goal in the same manner that marked him out as world class at Anfield. Despite the 'keeper looking to do well, Torres had enough of a jink to get by him before he kept his cool brilliantly and let two despairing defenders slide in past him on the line as he slotted home to the other side of the goals. Pure class.
