This insane finish came during Empoli's Coppa Italia clash with Genoa tonight. Empoli's Georgian striker, Levan Mchedlidze (try saying that after a few pints), made it 2-0 to the good in the 72nd minute with an outrageous volley. Mchedlidze somehow managed to get on the end of a cross that seemed destined to miss him completely. The striker finished the move off with panache, drilling the ball into the Genoa net with an incredible, standing scorpion kick volley. Hat-tip to 101 Great Goals
