Motherwell and Rangers are in action this afternoon in the second leg of their promotion/relegation play-off in Scotland and one fan couldn't resist getting too close to the action.
With Rangers down 3-1 from the first leg and chasing the game, midfielder Lee McCulloch attempted to retrieve the ball to take a quick throw-in, only for a Motherwell supporter to clobber him in the face with what appears to be a flag pole.
The fan then gave McCulloch a smack on the thigh for good measure. Hopefully the supporter is identified and suitably punished.
