The Eibar goalkeeper obviously felt sorry for Cristiano Ronaldo's lack of ability to convert free kicks recently.

Despite being Real Madrid's designated free kick taker, Ronaldo hadn't found the net from a free since the Champions League tie against Bayern Munich last April. Before today's effort, the Portuguese had struck 56 free kicks without beating the 'keeper but Xabi Irureta clearly had his money on Ronaldo first goalscorer.
