Jack's back!

Former Ireland manager Jack Charlton was given a rapturous reception by Ireland and England supporters alike at the Aviva Stadium this afternoon. Big Jack, who won a World Cup with England in 1966 and coached Ireland in three major tournaments, was the FAI's guest of honour ahead of the friendly match between the two countries. https://youtu.be/NgEfNFL4pGc Big Jack was clearly taken aback by the crowd reaction. Before he took to the pitch to acknowledge the crowd, Charlton was greeted by England boss Roy Hodgson. https://twitter.com/FAIreland/status/607513623322312704 This avid viewer must have got it mixed up, at home. Surely Charlton was putting up his dukes, fighting Irish style? https://twitter.com/PavanGrewal/status/607514471624523776 As for the game itself, this was the highlight from the first hour: https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/607536884453998593 Charlton was joined in the stands by another Irish football legend, Paul McGrath. The match ended 0-0.
